born in Somerset in 1972, Sam
developed an interest in art from an early age. Her love of wildlife and nature, and having an artistic father, was all the inspiration needed, to pursue a creative course. Sam studied Art Foundation at Yeovil College, and on completion she gained an A-level in Art and a National Diploma in Art and Design. She has exhibited locally at the Guggleton Gallery for many years running. Her paintings have also been seen at Yeovil Arts Centre and in Sherborne at The Digby Hall and The Old Barn Gallery.
Sam is currently studying for a Diploma in Botanical Illustration. Whilst continuing with her love of Acrylics and the freedom they allow, the course has opened a whole new dimension, incorporating her passion for gardens and plants, whilst developing a much more precise style of painting.
